My brother A is from Smart Communications . And this year, the kids and I were lucky to be part of Fun Familia 2013 again since we were able to join them two years ago. It is a family day were all Smart Communications employee can avail of discounted entrance and coupons to their preferred venue. For this year, they had a choice of going to Enchanted Kingdom , 8 Waves Waterpark   and Manila Ocean Park . "A" chose Manila Ocean Park since they have not seen it yet.  Since hubby was in out of town and Nanay wanted to have a break from driving, we took the commuters way to our destination. From Marikina we rode the jeepney to LRT 2 Katipunan Station, each payed PhP 8.00. A took these photos while we where on our LRT 2 ride: My lovely sisters and Tatay The excited ones sight seeing <3  Then we got off Recto Station and walked to the nearby LRTA 1 Doroteo Jose Station, it was a sight to see wooden houses with cable disc, almost one house after the other alon

God taught us not to hold on anger but instead encouraged us to love our neighbor as ourselves. But we can't do this if we do not love God first for He is the source of the love that we can share to others, no matter how unloving or indifferent they maybe towards us. Isn't it amazing to know that we we're first loved by God before we loved Him despite our sorry state? Thus who are we not to share this love that was showered upon us? Parang ang daling gawin di ba pero minsan honestly its so hard to love those who cause you pain but through Christ everything is possible. Hope you'll have a happy and blissful weekend everyone!

So much happening around me, preparing for Toti's 5th birthday and coordinating a major unit activity that will happen in the same week. Juggling motherhood and civil service, I have to get use to this. Bumped into this quotation and I love it. Indeed gratitude unlocks the true essence of things and I know as in other days, I'll get through all this with a smiling face :)

"Ta To or Ti?"

Image
If you have noticed or if you haven't, our family's nom de guerre all starts with the letter "T". I think fate played on us when Toto met Tata, and so to make things more fun, we decided to call our first born "Tato", "Ta" from Tata and "-to" from Toto. When Toti came we did a little tweaking by adding "-ti" pero cute pa din naman. I remember one of our beautiful Ninang candidly suggested that we should stop giving nicknames to are kids starting with the letter "T", paano daw pag-naubos na ang mga letra and we'll end up with a baby nicknamed "Titi". It was well meant and taken, hopefully we will not arrived at that scenario :) So now that we have our third baby coming I am starting to think of a nickname, would the baby be a "Ta", a "To" or a "Ti"? In a few months we will know and so I would just have to continue on choosing baby names :) In the meantime, I just would li

Been having a daily dose of my blog inspiration and read Ms.Frances' take on the importance of not being beautiful  on one of her famous blog Topaz Horizon . This verse immediately entered my mind. I grew up not being tall, I have a muscular built, a low voice, not as graceful and beautiful as other specie of my kind but I grew up loved and appreciated. And I am forever grateful to God for the loving and understanding people around me that has made the rough journey worthwhile.  As a mom of two boys, I always pray that they grew up seeing people beyond what their skin or physique and looks could offer. How about you moms? Happy and blessed weekend.

Browsed over my daily dose of blog inspiration and read Ms. Daphne's blog entry Remember Typhoon Pablo  and her story on Rappler. Does anyone here remember Pablo? Read Ms. Daphne's story  here You can read more about Typhoon Pablo here and some updates from government site and local newspaper as well. Why care and share Ms.Daphne's story?  It's not really her's alone but of the families in Pablo affected areas. I applaud people like Ms. Daphne Osena Paez and other private individuals and organizations who are making people remember about Pablo and sharing their skills and talents in helping these families. I also give high regards to local workers (social workers, health workers, teachers and even soldiers who assists in the relief operations and psycho-social healing of the victims). I could not solely blame the slow delivery of assistance to the government but I wish they could have done it better, its been four months already and the victims are wait
